Everything You Need to Know
Barre Class
A Barre class is a type of fitness class that blends elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates to create a full-body workout. The class is typically centered around a ballet barre, but it often includes other equipment such as resistance bands, light hand weights, and mats. Barre classes focus on strengthening, lengthening, and toning muscles, particularly in the legs, core, and arms.
The exercises in a barre class are designed to be low-impact but highly effective, with a focus on small, controlled movements. These movements target specific muscle groups to improve flexibility, balance, posture, and endurance. Because of the combination of different exercise styles, barre classes can be accessible to people of various fitness levels, though they often require core strength and stamina.

Toning Class
Toning classes are group fitness sessions that focus on strengthening and sculpting the body by targeting specific muscle groups to improve overall muscle definition and endurance. These classes often combine resistance training, bodyweight exercises, and sometimes light cardio to help participants achieve a leaner, more toned physique.
Toning classes typically involve exercises such as:
-
Bodyweight movements (e.g., squats, lunges, push-ups)
-
Resistance bands or light weights to provide additional resistance
-
Core exercises to strengthen abdominal and lower back muscles
-
Focused repetitions to tone muscles
The primary goal of a toning class is to increase muscle strength, tighten and define the body, and improve overall endurance and flexibility.

Yoga
Yoga classes are designed to improve flexibility, strength, balance, and mental clarity. They typically include a combination of physical postures, breathing exercises, and sometimes meditation. The class may vary in intensity, duration, and style depending on the specific type of yoga being taught and the level of the participants.
